Alaska and it's beauty waiting to be drilled!

Do you wonder why it is such a troubling and confusing world. Technology is at our fingertips. Do you think computers will save the natural world. Hard telling if they will have any impact at all. Just think about the vastness of the universe and see Planet Earth as a pin point in space. Will it matter if this planet quit having life forms on it?... In the larger scheme of things. Really, think about it. If an asteroid blows this planet up completely... that's how important we are. We aren't important. The marching of time goes forward. I used to think as a kid, and even sometimes now, that maybe we are some other planets experiment, to see if these creatures called humans could live peacefully on this planet. I think the experiment is proving that human beings as a whole don't really get along and will fight for resources as they become scarcer to get. This more than likely will happen.

Beautiful Alaska and what is happening there...

I recently flew a small floatplane to Anchorage from Seattle. What a spectacular land. Whales, birds, bears, sea lions, wolves. We are in a state of losing all of these wonderful animals if our government goes through with more drilling of oil. Why the hell can't we as people demand that we use better and more efficient vehicles to start with. Exxon loves their profits don't they? And yes we used fuel to fly there. The plane won't run on anything else. We saw Alaska from a viewpoint not many people see and the glaciers are retreating quit rapidly. I did the same trip 5 years ago and where glaciers went to the the ocean... no more, they are aways from it.

Climate Crisis

  • Climate Crisis

  • This is a site we all need to be aware of now and do our part!

The Global Crisis - Can people win?

I don't want to be a pesimist but I can't help it. I think from the beginning of time when people first came into being on this planet, it has been survival. Now here we are milleniums further down the road and what is happening? Wars, global warming, famines, disease. You name it we have it coming. Why? We have too many people on this planet and are stressing it beyond comprehension. Do you honestly think we won't drill in the Alaska Wildlife Refuge? Think again. People have no conscience under shitty governments and administrations... sorry!

I have a larger view and one that's probably going to take place whether we as people do anything to change our current crisis or not. I don't think that our situation is reversible at the current rate of growth in this world. I think larger forces of nature will decrease world populations substantially as well as wars.

We are in a world of hurt here and I don't think our government wants to change it's policy at all. Let's just burn up all of the oil worldwide, and we'll drink sea water since it will be so diluted with all of the melted ice from the ice caps and glaciers. Stupid humans! We're all guilty from the food we buy to the cars we drive. We're an obese world literally.
